Dust Networks’ SmartMesh-XT™ M2135 mote allows OEMs to build global solutions using industry-standard 802.15.4 radios coupled with the industry-leading Time Synchronized Mesh Protocol (TSMP) to provide unmatched network reliability and ultra-low power consumption. The M2135 is tailored for use in battery- and line-powered wireless devices for applications that demand proven performance, scalability and reliability.

The M2135 uses the IEEE standard 802.15.4 radio with a power amplifier for extended range (up to 300 meters outdoors), while operating in the global license-free 2.4 GHz band. The M2135 mote works with the PM2130 manager. The combination of extremely high reliability and low power consumption enables applications that entail very low installation cost and long-term, low-maintenance deployments.

The M2135 comes with analog, digital or serial interfaces, which simplifies the development of a wide variety of end-user devices. When integrated into a product, the M2135 acts like a network interface card (NIC) — ensuring that data packets successfully traverse the network. By creating a “plug and play” environment, SmartMesh-XT products accelerate and simplify the process and reduce network risk with minimal user involvement.
